On 10 September 2018 the Boundary Commission published its final recommendations of its review of Parliamentary boundaries that will, if enacted, reduce the number of UK parliamentary constituencies from 650 to 600. The 600 proposed constituencies will also have a more even spread of voters. There will be a reduction of one constituency in Kent and Medway and there will be adjustments to boundaries to ensure a more equal distribution of voters. One of the new proposed constituencies will cross a county boundary.
